1979|Guppedu Manasu

Guppedu Manasu is a 1979 Telugu language film directed by K. Balachander starring Sarath Babu, Sujatha and Saritha in prominent roles. It was a bilingual film made simultaneously in Tamil as Nool Veli (English: Fence of Yarn) (1979). The film was a remake of the Malayalam film Aa Nimisham. Kamal Haasan does a guest role in both Tamil and Telugu versions.

Eminent musicologist Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna gave his melodious voice to a song, “Mouname Nee Basha O Mooga Manasa”, penned by Acharya Atreya.[1] It elegantly describes the various aspects of “Manasu” (translation: Mind). It aptly describes the mental condition of the key roles.
